My love for the birthing world started at a young age. I followed my dreams and became a Labor and Delivery nurse. I have been a nurse for 11 years (the past 9 on Labor and Delivery and postpartum). I am a mom to 4 gorgeous children, each of whom came into the world with their very own unique birthing story and feeding journey. Each of my journeys has enabled me to educate and advocate for my patients and clients. My love for advocacy, support, education, and the birthing world led me to obtain my birth and postpartum doula certifications and to open EMAJ Lactation and Doula Services LLC.

I believe that every birthing parent and family deserves support during the pregnancy, labor, and delivery process. However, support does not stop there; it continues into the 4th trimester (postpartum).
