I’m Ari (he/they), a Brooklyn-based birth doula trained through Carriage House Birth, and one of very few male doulas you’ll meet. Birth asks for the duality of fierceness and tenderness and I’m built to bring both into the room, the evidence you need before, the tender presence you need during, and the fierce advocacy you need when challenges arise.

I might look a little different from what you’d expect to come through the door at 2am, and I come to this work with the intention to use my privileges to help any family I have the chance to support. I’ve spent a lifetime learning what it means to show up fully as yourself in rooms that weren’t designed with you in mind, that’s the same presence I bring to your birth, and the same thing I’ll help you learn to do. Whatever kind of family you’re building, that’s the transformative support I’m here to offer.
